PS QUAESTIO PRO 9.0
WHAT’S NEW
PS QUAESTIO PRO is a complete environment for questionnaire surveys encompassing the whole research process, from data collection to data analysis, to the reporting and distribution of results.
This new version of the system provides a number of functional innovations and options to improve data security and efficiency of conducted processes. An integral part of the solution is PS IMAGO PRO 9.0 with the IBM SPSS Statistics 29 analytical engine.
INNOVATIONS IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SURVEYS
Bootstrap mobi Layout with WCAG 2.x.
A new version of the mobile template that supports the WCAG 2.x standard. This ensures that the designed surveys take into account recommendations for creating content for people with disabilities.
Mobile template supported by the WCAG 2.x standard.
Options for modifying how content is presented in the upper right corner
- A new version of the question builder tool (Author wizard).
It allows flexible modification of the content and structure of an existing survey. - The ability to encrypt personal or sensitive data has been added.
In the area of ensuring compliance with RODO, the system provides the possibility to individually control access to data and encrypt the presented content. This ensures that the data processed by the system is secure not only at the level of the databases in which it is stored, but also at the user interface.

to sensitive data and content encryption
- Touchscreen support has been improved.
For the implementation of interviews using the CAPI technique without internet connection, an improved mechanism for scaling the presented content of the survey has been introduced (including touch screens with non-standard resolutions). - New version of WEB API.
An expanded version of the API service allows remote access to data collected within the survey project, such as results, participants, metadata, files or statistics.

- Additional possibilities for personalization of content for conducting mailing campaigns have been introduced.
The preparation of personalized content, e.g., survey invitation, has been expanded with the possibility of inserting content based on logical conditions based on available data. - Ability to edit survey quotas in MS Excel.
Added the ability to export quota tables to an .xlsx file, perform editing of individual conditions or cell values, and then import into the survey system. - Added native support for JSON parser.
This allows information to be stored and used in an object structure, which is extremely useful for interacting with services that use this format.
SECURITY INNOVATIONS
- The ability to use SSL in clustered installations.
This functionality is particularly applicable in networks with a dedicated SSL traffic control device, such as NetScaler. - Provide support for systems that support at least TLS 1.2 protocol.
- Improved encryption of participant data.
The mechanism for encryption of participant data has been enhanced with support for the AES-256 algorithm. - The ability to control access to graphics displayed in surveys has been added.
INNOVATIONS IN PERFORMANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
- The performance of the survey engine has been improved.
By default, projects process follow-up data queries in a sequential manner. If you find that this slows down the performance of the survey system, you can configure it to process survey queries in parallel. - Support for cloud solutions is provided:
- Microsoft Azure
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- IBM Cloud
- Rackspace
- Automation of the system installation and uninstallation process has been improved
NEW PROCEDURES AND CHART IN THE PREDICTIVE SOLUTIONS MENU
Procedures for data management and transformation
- MULTIPLY CASES procedure.
Allows you to multiply observations with a weighting variable and save them to a designated location as a new dataset. Each case will be represented in the new dataset as many times as its weighted frequency in the original dataset. - REVERSE CODING procedure.
Umożliwia odwrócenie kierunku kodowania zmiennych jakościowych. Rekoduje ona zmienne na nowe zmienne z odpowiednio przypisanymi etykietami wartości. - The DATA AUDIT procedure.
Allows you to prepare a summary for analyzed variables in the form of tables containing statistics selected by the User. The summary is presented by qualitative and quantitative variables. This procedure is particularly useful for creating a quick report or comparing multiple variables with each other within selected values.
New visualization for data
- MATRIX DASHBOARD.
Allows you to present the status of plan implementation within groups/subgroups of data. It juxtaposes the actual values of task execution with the planned values in a table. Depending on the selected template, the color of the dots and/or their shape present the exceeding of threshold values or the status of plan execution.
- MATRIX DASHBOARD.

NEW IBM SPSS STATISTICS ANALYTICAL ENGINE
New and updated statistical procedures
- Alternatives form linear OLS (least squares methods).
New regression types: Lasso, Ridge, or Network, which belong to the group of adjusted regressions. They are used to “impose penalties” on very complex models and can be helpful in removing variables that are of little use to the model. Useful when there are a large number of predictors or when they are correlated.
Ridge regression – line graph showing ridge regression coefficients vs. alpha value
- Accelerated survival (AFT) models.
NA newly added survival analysis that is a parametric model, unlike the popular Kaplan-Meier regression and Cox regression. Used when the dependent variable has a specific distribution. - Meta-analysis.
Draws on the results of other scientific studies and allows them to be synthesized and combined. Can provide a pooled overview of effect size and reasons for potential variability. Among other things, it includes tests of heterogeneity, evaluation of study effects, meta-regression and visualizations that can be used to summarize results. - Test power analysis.
Plays a key role in the design of the test and the subsequent analysis of the results. The result of the procedure is a table of test power values and optionally, a graph of the test power curve. - Relationship map.
Allows you to reflect the connections and influences between variables through nodes and relationships. Nodes represent variables and categories of variables, while links represent the strength of influence between nodes.

Improvements for the Analyst’s Work
- Workbook.
Provides an interactive way to perform data analysis by integrating the functionality of the Commands window and the Results window. Paragraphs containing commands can be edited or commands can be run directly.
